PAPHOS EXCURSION |

This
is one of the most popular tours. We’ll pass through the Phassouri
 Citrus plantations, through the British Military Base Episkopi and
stop for photographs and a coffee break at the Petra tou Romiou,
birthplace of Aphrodite, the Goddess of love and beauty, also
birthplace of the island itself. In the village of Yeroskipou we’ll
visit the old church of St. Paraskevi that has 5 domes.We’ll
then pass by the Catacomb of St. Solomoni, by the Pillar of St. Paul
and remains of the 4th century Basilica of
Chrysopolitissa. After lunch you have the choice either to
visit the roman mosaic or to have more free time at the harbour of
Pafos. On the way back to Limassol we’ll stop to try the
Loukoumi - sweets or delights made in Yeroskipou village. |
