A
lot of people are surprised to learn that Sunny Cyprus offers snow
-skiing. Snow -skiing can be enjoyed on the slopes of Mount Olympos
(1951 metres above sea level), from the beginning of January to the
end of March and sometimes even till April. Mount
Olympos is only 3km from Troodos hill resort, 12km from Platres hill
resort, and about an hour’s drive from the seaside town of Limassol
or even from Nicosia. You can get there with a 4x4, or any car
fitted with snow chains as the roads are in a good shape. |
